today i made pupu twice here at citibank.... emtying my tummy from the dinner treats of the past two days!

cuzzins from abroad

this weekend, we were treated by karina for dinner at sugi, a japanese restaurant at greenbelt. with us is her neighbor-friend....i forgot her name... she's a very nice person. the first true chamoro i got to know of.

last night, tita vicky and cuzzin pia treated us at peking garden, a chinese family style restaurant. we also had the chance to see imelda marcos as she and her guests had dinner in the same restaurant.

sad love story

my hunny and i started to watch another koreanovela - sad love story. it is shown here on a local channel in a different title of - sad love song.

this is another excruciating movie to watch for.

we also just finished watching Jewel in the Palace. This is another koreanovela which is still shown here. we finished the movie ahead of what is shown locally here.

taxi and pansit

after we heard our wednesday mass at greenbelt, we usually find a hard time getting a ride home. luckily, a cab stopped in front of us and picked us up. when we arrived home, the cab driver gave us a pamphlet about jesus and his works.

And for dinner, we had a nice pansit that we can never duplicate. pansit is a local version of chinese noodles. we used rice noodles or bihon.

we sauteed it with garlic, onions, leeks, bell peppers, celery and carrots. We added some chicken liver adobo and straw mushrooms. broth used is the secret. we used the leftover broth from the corn we boiled last weekend. pansit was very good!!!

quiet managerial meeting

we had a managerial meeting in our office. good thing everyone is responsive. boss is not upset and had no chance of raising her voice.

good rest

we had a nice good long night sleep getting ready for the day.

lunch at china town

last saturday, we had a nice lunch in a small restaurant in our local china town. This place is famous for all china stuff. we had beef tendon soup, braised spare ribs, chinese cabbage in sesame oil, and chiampang rice.

This is our small treat to my mom, dad and sister who are celebrating their birthdays this january.

Sunday, we had our supermaket goodies to replenish our stocks in our little home.

Today, i'm wearing a nice yellow barong, a formal shirt here, that was ironed perfectly by my hunny.

rico's work and rats

our prayer was answered. our friend rico got a new job!

we also caught two rats in our little home. yey!

dinner at big buddha

we had a good dinner at big buddha with my hunny. this is a chinese restaurant at greenbelt 4 makati. Same restaurant as with Super Bowl. That's another chinese restaurant in Glorietta.

We had Chicken Pao, this is braised chicken sauteed in light mushroom sauce sauteed with bell peppers, dry chillis, carrots, and mushrooms.

Together with chicken pao is the Big Buddha Seafood Tofu. Fried tofu sauteed with a light mushroom sauce with assorted seafoods and mixed veggies.

With the two viands is a Crab Meat Rice. This is a variation of a yang chow rice enhanced with shredded crab meat.

I also had an unlimited rootbeer!!!!

That was a good dinner with my hunny.....

savings, kno off to palawan

we deposited savings today in a bank. savings are for emergency family funds.

kno got news that he will attend a convention at palawan! he's good.
